Our journey began in 2011
Ivory Education Private Limited was founded on September 20, 2011 in New Delhi by two founders who had been working with a global market leader in Executive and Online Education. At the onset, they wanted to make a difference for education providers, companies and working executives.

One of the founders was once taking a flight from Hong Kong to Manila. He was seated with a bright looking Filipina who was intermittently looking at a picture on phone. Out of curiosity, he asked her whether he was her son. She declined and said that she was working as a maid in Hong Kong and she was the son of her employer. On being asked about her background, she said that she had a Master’s Degree in Agriculture and she couldn’t get a relevant job in the Philippines.
It motivated Ivory to extensively research on underemployment worldwide, and especially in developing economies. There was a huge disconnect between education and employment. Ivory started focusing on bridging the gap between education and employment.
